As part of their pre-med service hour requirements, the UT Tri Beta group helped decorate our center for Halloween. Their time and creativity brought a festive touch to the space while giving them an opportunity to contribute directly to our community.

Learning Through Conversation

The group also discussed birth control and how access to reproductive health information can help women make informed decisions about the timing and spacing of their children. The conversation offered an opportunity to explore an important aspect of health education and personal choice.

Building Connections for Future Service

Beyond decorating and discussion, the group learned more about Street Youth Ministry, our work, and the people we serve. Understanding our mission helps volunteers see how their time and skills can make a difference and how they might contribute even more during future visits.

We appreciate the UT Tri Beta group for sharing their time, asking questions, and getting involved. Service projects like this create opportunities for students to learn, connect with the community, and discover new ways to help.
