Learning to Lead at SYMin

An intern recently expressed interest in leading a client teaching group, and that is a step we always look forward to seeing.

At SYMin, learning to lead takes time. It means becoming familiar with our culture, learning how to interact with clients individually, and understanding how to create a safe and engaging environment for a group. These skills grow through experience, observation, and relationships.

When an intern begins to feel ready to take on that responsibility, it shows how far they have come. Leadership is not simply about standing in front of a group. It is about listening, connecting, understanding, and creating space for others to grow.

Every SYMin team member develops these skills, and watching someone move from learning to leading is a powerful reminder that growth happens one step at a time.
