""Supporting one another means creating space for both service and celebration.""

Street Youth Ministry is grateful for a team culture that values both the work being done and the people doing it.

One reflection shared during our recent gratitude circle highlighted appreciation for a team that pulls together so members can take time off to celebrate their birthday, if they choose.

Ministry work often requires flexibility, coordination, and a willingness to step in when needed. When team members cover shifts, adjust schedules, or take on extra responsibilities so someone else can enjoy a day of celebration, it reflects a culture of care that extends beyond daily tasks.

These moments remind us that strong teams are built not only through shared work, but also through mutual support. Making space for rest, family, and personal milestones helps create a healthier and more sustainable environment for everyone involved.

A birthday may seem like a small occasion, but the willingness of others to help make it possible speaks volumes about the relationships that strengthen the ministry from within.

We are grateful for a team that understands the importance of showing up for one another, both in the work and in life's meaningful moments.
