For income, the news is that things are flat. That's actually much improved over the past 12 months when income dropped. We believe it's primarily the overall financial and consumer confidence situation, but we're listening carefully for other feedback.

The expenses, the better news is that we've brought spending down by careful cost control by 17% quarter on quarter. Spending still exceeded income for Q2, but when we add the first half of the year and interest growth in our rainy-day fund, we broke even. This is super news! It means we didn't need to tap our rainy-day funds like we did in 2024. Obviously, our goal is to keep controls i place, keep raising donor awareness, and break even for the whole year. This will be challenging given special costs associated with recent floods.
