We moved this year, but something hasn't changed! We served 427 qualified people in our age range, up 5%. Of those, 212 accomplished some life changes during that time. Just over a quarter or 27% of the clients we served were deeply engaged (40 or more hours of service), and 100% of them accomplished changes for more stability, sobriety, reconnection with God or finding a faith home. Of the group that isn't yet engaged (perhaps they will hit 40 hours of engagement in 2025!), only 31% reported changes. Comparing the two groups reveals that we have a 3.2X factor of increase in change between unengaged and fully engaged. On a monthly basis, when we look at lots of change (six or more) vs. some change, the ratio jumps even higher. Deep engagement with the guidance of our team means lots of change! We're proud of those who make the effort so they can enjoy the lifelong benefits of 913 changes last year! 119 jobs. 160 housing starts. 52 sobriety changes. 197 self-care changes. 84 faith increases. Almost twice as many goals were set (1.9X) than could be accomplished ... yet! Many of these photos are of clients making changes, earning SYMinU points, and getting laptops through the SYMinU store to help them accomplish even more change! Others are of clients holding backpacks because they are headed back to school to improve their lives!
